Every used motorcycle is unique, and unlike a new vehicle, will show signs of previous ownership, age and use.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eNothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eOur Inspection Process\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eEvery used motorcycle is inspected before being advertised for sale.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eWhere reasonably possible, motorcycles are checked to ensure they are operating correctly at the time of inspection and before handover.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eIf we are aware of any significant faults, defects or cosmetic issues, these will be disclosed to the customer before the sale is completed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eCustomer Inspection\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eWe strongly encourage every customer to inspect the motorcycle before purchasing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p4\"\u003eCustomers are given the opportunity, where reasonably possible, to:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eView the motorcycle.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eInspect its overall condition.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAsk questions about its history and condition.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSee the motorcycle running before purchase.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eReview any photographs or videos supplied for distance sales.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eIt is the customer’s responsibility to satisfy themselves that the motorcycle meets their requirements before completing the purchase.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eAcceptance of the Motorcycle\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p4\"\u003eBy collecting or accepting delivery of a used motorcycle, the customer confirms that:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThey have inspected the motorcycle themselves, or accepted its condition based on the photographs, videos and information supplied before purchase.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThey are satisfied with the motorcycle’s condition at the time of handover.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAny known faults or defects disclosed by FDY Performance have been accepted.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThey understand they are purchasing a previously owned motorcycle and not a new vehicle.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eIf the motorcycle is demonstrated to be in working order at the time of sale and the customer accepts its condition, FDY Performance will not be responsible for faults, damage or failures that arise after handover where those issues were not present at the time of sale.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eOwnership \u0026amp; Responsibility\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eOnce the motorcycle has been collected or delivered, ownership and responsibility for the motorcycle passes to the customer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p4\"\u003eFrom that point onwards, the customer is responsible for:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRoutine maintenance.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eServicing.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStorage.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTransportation.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCorrect operation.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDaily safety checks.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRepairs resulting from wear, accidental damage, misuse, lack of maintenance or events occurring after handover.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eUsed motorcycles contain previously used mechanical and electrical components.
